    Wearing them correctly

Position matters more than it does with normal headphones. Get this wrong and the product feels broken.

The pads sit on your cheekbones, just forward of your ear canal, resting on bone rather than soft tissue. The band goes around the back of your head or over your ears depending on the model fit.

    Check three things:

Contact. The pads should press lightly and consistently against bone. Loose contact means weak vibration.

Placement. If the pads are sitting on your ears, on your temples, or over your jaw muscle, move them forward and up until you find bone.

Hair and glasses. Thick hair between the pad and your skin dampens the vibration. Glasses arms can push the pads out of position. Adjust so the pads have direct contact.

If you want to block outside noise, put in the included earplugs. The frequency still reaches your inner ear through bone, and the outside world drops away. Most people find this the strongest version of the experience.
