Mixing multiple sounds

Layering is the feature most people never find, and it is the reason the app sounds different from anything else you have used.

How to start a mix. Play one sound. Then tap a second sound. A prompt appears asking whether you want to switch to the new sound or mix it with the current one. Choose mix.

Adjusting the mix. A mixer button appears next to the favorite icon. Tap it to open the layer list, where each sound has its own volume slider. Pull the fireplace down, bring the rain up, find your balance.

Adding more layers. Inside the mixer, tap the plus button. It takes you back to browse, and whatever you pick gets added to the stack.

Stopping. Tap the X to end the whole mix, or lower a single layer to zero.

Adding a frequency underneath. From the Generator, start a frequency and tap the plus button to layer a sound over it. Now you have a generated tone driving the state and your own soundscape on top.

A realistic setup: 4 Hz difference in the Generator for deep rest, rain at 70 percent, low fireplace at 30 percent, earplugs in.
